My ramblings on Occult Day.

The website Holiday Insights inform us, November 18, 2011 is Occult Day.  In keeping true with occult teachings, the origins of the day remain a mystery.

Dictionary.com defines Occult with seven different adjective meanings, including:  secret, communicated only to the initiated, or concealed.   According to the definition, there is nothing dark and foreboding about the word.  Bringing to light, that many clubs or societies could be considered occult societies, such as: Masonic Societies, Moose, Elk, or Eagles, how about the different sororities and fraternities with the different Universities?  With the definition Dictionary.com offers, they would all be considered ‘the occult’.  And let us not forget the churches, with their rites to become clergy, bishops, cardinals and Pope.  The secrets they hold for depossessing a possessed person is definitely considered occult.  Yet, with all their secret (think Occult) knowledge, they look down on any form of knowledge they do not understand.

With all the negative feelings about the word, occult, I decided to do an exercise this morning and substitute the word ‘occult’ for conceal, invisible and unearthly.  I found it rather interesting when I ran across a passage from Shakespeare and substituted the word occult for his word secret.  Then I began doing it to other quotes.

Replace the word ‘occult’ for the word ‘secret’ in these original quotes.

When my sister and I were in elementary school, we had our share of bullies.  A bully is one of those class mates who are insecure and call you names to make them selves feel better.  They can also be the one who beats you up for your lunch money or bicycle.

My mom gave us a jar to place our spells in and that was our area of the freezer.   The supplies you will need:

• Jar with lid.  (pickle, jelly, mayo, mason, etc. with a lid)
• Snack or sandwich baggie
• Pinch of sugar
• Piece of paper with their name on it

As you write the bully’s name on the piece of paper, think with strong intent and say:  Stop being a bully to me.

Now, write on through the bully’s name:  Be sweet to [your name].

• Put the paper inside the baggie.
• Zip lock the baggie.
• Put baggie into jar.
• Sprinkle sugar into jar.

Say:

You bully me no more.

I know you are sweet.

Let me help you, be nice to me.

It is my treat!

• Put lid on jar.
• Put jar in freezer.

NOTE: take jar out of freezer ONLY when you need to add another bully’s name.

Whether you are a believer in the metaphysical or not, this ritual will work for you.  This is one of the first techniques I share with my students for immediate negative energy removal.  Also, you need to be aware that if you are the originator of your negative energy, the non beneficial things that happen to you, will increase three fold.  At that point you need to correct your thinking patterns as thoughts are things, and you need to focus on good positive events happening.  There are more advance techniques that will work for the person creating their own chaos.  The first step is being aware you are creating it, and then choosing to do something positive about it.

Now, let the negative energy removal begin.

1.  Stand in the Earth Goddess position (see picture to the above)

2.  Turn in a counterclockwise circle while saying

3.  “I return to you the originator, what you sent to me three times three times three.

4.   Turn in a counterclockwise circle while saying

5.  “I return to you the originator, what you sent to me three times three times three.

6.  Turn in a counterclockwise circle while saying

7.  “I return to you the originator, what you sent to me three times three times three.

Always send it back to the originator, because if you think it is coming from the neighbor across the street and its not, then you will be guilty of sending black magic at an innocent.  When you do the negative energy removal and return energy sent to you that has the feel of negativity, and return it to the originator, this is not black magic, it is returning an unwanted gift.  Returning the negative energy sent to you, to the innocent neighbor across the street is black magic.

The definition I use for black magic is:

• when you send ill intent to someone
• you take someone’s free will away from them

The definition I use for white magic is:

• when you send a ‘bless you’ to someone
• when you phrase your spell or prayer to include their freewill

In my advance classes I teach how to remove black magic without tossing more black magic around.  Also, how to work with the white magic and get results as quick as using a more negative energy.  While you may be a person who rejects all negative or black magic, and you embrace the light or white magic, until you learn how the black magic works your power will not come into being as soon as it could.  I was halfway through my apprenticeship before I could appreciate this idea.  You do not have to do black magic to learn how it works.

Here is how a genuine psychic reading can be free by a proven psychic without being a hoax or rip off would work.  Several of the larger online psychic companies offer you three to five free with a paid ten minute reading.  Smaller companies, as Proven Psychics for example, offer you a completely free psychic reading, no strings attached micro mini reading in their online chat room several times a week.

Whether the company is large or small, the idea is the same.  They want you to hire their psychic or intuitive advisors for 15, 30, or 60 minutes at a time.  As a psychic, I want to show case my talents for you while doing your free psychic reading.  Also, I want you to know if your goal is to get detailed information, a free reading is not where you will get details.  Your in-depth information will come when the psychic of your choice has time to connect to Your Guides as well as his or her own.

Now, here are the warning signs to steer clear of in a free psychic reading.  When you told by the psychic you have black magic, or negative energy that will require you to pay them to remove it.  Granted you might have one or both, but you should not be charged extra for the removal of it.  Whether you are paying for a reading or energy work, an authentic psychic will not tell you about it during your free psychic reading.  She or he will suggest energy work during paid time, and ask if you want it removed then.  It should always be part of the paid reading, not extra.  This is where the horror stories about receiving a free psychic reading begin.

Authentic proven psychics have work ethics with high integrity, they have confidentiality clauses in place, and they come highly recommended which make them a proven psychic.

I had two infants, a six year old, and a thirteen year old which is not conducive to leaving them home while I go to work, go to psychic festivals, or bring clients (strangers) into my home. The internet allowed me to work doing psychic chat readings from home without paying child care. No one knew whether my children were perfectly quiet or if it sounded like we had a heard of buffalo running up and down the hall. I thought this would be more of a shamanic workshop as I am familiar with the work of Kahuna.  Sadly, it was not.  However, Gale shared with us the outward manifestation of how mana (chi, qi, prauna) makes the auric field denser.   The woman who volunteered to be in the center with Gale’s assistance was able to extend her aura 10+ feet.

After the Huna Healing in the morning, I met a class participant, Amy Weimer, at the Maxon Cafeteria for lunch.  She is a wonderful spiritual healer who uses the drum as her modality choice.

Rev. John Hudson joined us for lunch and shared a fantastic message with me from my maternal grandmother and invited me to join him and his other guest for a cookout.

The entire day radiated an energy usually reserved for old well worn friends.  I expect the new friendships to last this life time and possibly more *wink*.

This weekend was amazing. I, Rosa Pearl, met author and teacher, Rev. Dr. Raymond Buckland. He offered a class on Solitary Séance: Working Alone and lectured on several forms of divination, which always lead back to doing a Solitary Séance. Who knew, I, Rosa Pearl was also a medium.

Many people feel they can only communicate with their departed loved ones if they have access to a professional medium. This is not so; it is quite possible to communicate all by yourself or with a friend or two. As our classes expand, Proven Psychics will offer an online course teaching how to use different forms of divination. Several of the solitary séance divination forms are already taught on Proven Psychics by Lark Eden and myself, Rosa Pearl.

Rev. Dr. Buckland shared the definition of mediumship as a person who is a conduit between both worlds. He went further to state, “we all have the innate ability to connect with spirit and there are multiple tools that can be used to facilitate the process”. Most of these tools can be found in the home without the need to buy expensive manufactured items.

My definition had been wrong all along. I thought mediums not only communicated with the deceased, but was able to see them in a 3-D form. Now, you may ask why I thought this, and it’s because three of my four girls do it that way. Also, that is what they show ‘on television’ and I should know by now, never believe what you see on television.

During the lecture, Rev. Dr. Raymond Buckland provided tools, he and his wife made for class participants to experiment working with a variety of disciplines and techniques. I enjoyed a new version of scrying and another use for the pendulum.
